Interview: Jazmine Tzeng

Jasmine currently works as a Senior Associate for Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP. She advises institutional investors in all phases of real property investment, including development, secured financing, and acquisitions and dispositions of real estate portfolios. Prior to her work at Orrick, Jasmine worked on commercial real estate matters at Downey Brand. When Jasmine was a student at King Hall, she was involved in the King Hall Negotiations Team, Moot Court Board, Journal of International Law, and Business Law Journal.

Interview: Kara DiBiasio

Kara DiBiasio is a partner at Burke, Williams and Sorensen, LLP. She handles all manners of real estate litigation, including lease disputes, foreclosure, quiet title, easement disputes, eminent domain, and partnership and contract disputes. Earlier in her career she worked as an associate at Sedgwick LLP and as a Summer Extern at the California Department of Justice. During her time at King Hall she was involved in Moot Court Board and the King Hall Negotiations Team.

Interview: Cristina Chirica

Cristina Chirica is a corporate partner at M&H, LLP. She counsels angel and institutional investors, as well as early stage and established companies, in a variety of corporate and intellectual property transactions, including entity formations, equity and debt financings, general corporate governance, strategic investments and asset sales, technology and licensing agreements, and mergers and acquisitions. During her time at King Hall she worked as an extern for the United States Bankruptcy Court, a legal intern for the IXYS Corporation, and a law clerk for Wagner, Kirkman, Blaine, Klomparens and Youmans, LLP.

Jayson Nayagam currently works as Senior Corporate Counsel at Internet Brands, a "vertically focused" internet company based in El Segundo, California. Prior to Internet Brands, Mr. Nayagam worked as a corporate and securities attorney at Indeglia & Carney, LLP. While at King Hall, he was involved in LSA, the UC Davis Sports & Entertainment Law Society, and the UC Davis California Supreme Court Clinic. He was also a tutor for Property in the Academic Success program, and a teaching assistant for Legal Research and Writing.
