About
The UC Davis Business Law Journal is run by dedicated law students who are committed to providing current and valuable legal and business analysis. The UC Davis Business Law Journal publishes two print issues each year and provides access to our author abstracts and interviews online.
PRACTICAL
The UC Davis Business Law Journal was the first business law journal in the nation to electronically publish articles written by professionals, academics, and law students using a concise, journalistic style. While traditional law journals are heavy on academic theory and light on practical use, the UC Davis Business Law Journal is a tool for users to obtain quality legal and business analysis that is easily accessible and, best of all, succinct. The UC Davis Business Law Journal now publishes two print issues each year, and provides access to our author abstracts and interviews online.
FORWARD-LOOKING
The UC Davis Business Law Journal is a useful resource for practitioners, academics, and businesspersons faced with developing matters. The Journal's interviews are particularly beneficial for gathering the ideas and forecasts of those professionals who are shaping today’s business and legal fields.
FAR-REACHING
The UC Davis Business Law Journal addresses a broad spectrum of issues that fall within the intersection of business and the law. Consequently, professionals, businesspersons, academics, and students will find articles and interviews suited to their interests on numerous topics related to business trends, tax matters, intellectual property concerns, bankruptcy planning, employee benefits, as well as information on the impact of recent legal rulings, and more.
HOW DO WE DO IT?
The UC Davis Business Law Journal is a collaboration of efforts. Members of King Hall's nationally recognized faculty and administration generously share their collective experience and knowledge with the Journal by writing articles, granting interviews, and evaluating submitted pieces. Article and interview contributors outside the King Hall community value the Journal for the ease with which they may refer readers to their ideas and theories through a lasting, broad dissemination in a reputable journal. Students participating on the Journal practice and demonstrate their citing, research, editorial and analytical skills, while gaining exposure to the breadth of opportunities available in business law and the current issues within the field. Participating students also increase their opportunities to foster relationships with some of the most notable individuals in business law.
